Fosnavåg 20 October 2026 : HAV Group’s water treatment systems business has been chosen to deliver water treatment systems to a series of new live fish carriers that will be built with MMC First Process as a complete fish handling system integrator.
The subsidiary will deliver the treatment system as a subcontractor to MMC First Process.
As part of its scope of work, HAV Group’s water treatment system business will supply a filter- and UV-based process water treatment system to each of the vessels in the series.

HAV Group’s water treatment systems business will deliver the equipment during 2027 and 2028.
“By ensuring clean, high-quality water, the water treatment system helps safeguard fish welfare, improve operational efficiency, and minimize environmental impact,” says Børge Gjelseth, SVP Commercial at Norwegian Greentech.
The contract value is approximately NOK 25 million for the committed deliveries.

HAV Group’s contract party is Norwegian Greentech AS, which is a supplier of ballast water treatment systems and other systems for purification of water for use in the aquaculture industry and in the maritime sector.
